Jiggles sign rises over former Giggles | Business

Oh, the difference one letter makes.

The Jiggles Gentleman's Club sign is now up over the former Giggles comedy club, whose only jiggles over the past quarter century were the belly laughs caused by the comics performing there.

The comedy club at 5220 Roosevelt Way shut down last spring. Now, its owner plans to reopen it with stripping instead of stand-up.

But, the future of Jiggles is in question even before it officially opens. The club's proximity to the University Child Development School appears to violate the city code prohibiting strip clubs from opening within 800 feet of a school or childcare facility.
