Two men wearing masks over their faces and armed with handguns robbed a University District business – assaulting one employee and eluding officers – early Monday, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The two men entered the store in the 5000 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast at 12:52 a.m. Jan. 30. According to police, one of the men demanded money from an employee at the business while the other man stayed by the door.

One of the men hit an employee in the head with a gun during the robbery, according to police.

After getting the money, the men ran off, and officers were unable to find them, according to police.
